Students who intend to visit us from overseas for training need to apply for an India Visa. Basic requirements are that you have a passport with six months validity and to apply at least four days in advance of arrival in India. India has Visa on arrival policy for several countries.

To apply for a visa you need to fill an online application form, provide recent photographs with white background, ticket information and other supporting documents. It usually takes 3 to 7 days to obtain a visa but depends on Nationality. We provide the supporting documents such as initiation letter, admission letter or invoices to submit with your application. Please contact our Visa Section at the Student Helpdesk for more information.

Arrival Arrangements

Please send us a scanned copy of your passport and visa before arrival since this is required as per government regulations. Also inform us about your flight details (date and time of arrival, flight number and name of airlines) so that you can be welcomed at the airport. Send us your scanned photograph to facilitate easier recognition at the airport. The person receiving you will carry a placard with your name on it. He will give you 1,000 Indian Rupees in cash (to be adjusted in your account later), so you do not need to obtain local currency at the airport.

For students who wish to take a weekend excursion in combination to the learning trip, our help desk can connect with local tour guides and also help set up arrangements for nearby attractive destinations.
