FirePOWER

Overview

This section gives the information about Cisco FirePOWER and how it can be employed to secure a network. It explains the various features of Cisco FirePOWER, the FireSIGHT Management Center and FirePOWER AMP. It also shows the configuration for FireSIGHT policies to enforce your company’s security policy to all traffic on your network.

Introduction to FirePOWER

This section introduces to Cisco FirePOWER. It describes the primary components of a FirePOWER deployment and briefly demonstrates FirePOWER, the FireSIGHT Management Center and FireAMP. It also explains some of the different Cisco devices that can run FirePOWER and does a hands-on demonstration of the Defense Center / FireSIGHT Management Center.

Installing FirePOWER

This section demonstrates how to activate FirePOWER on a Cisco ASA that shipped with the FirePOWER module pre-installed. It also shows how to upgrade a pre-existing ASA to support FirePOWER. It also describes the Cisco FirePOWER licensing model.
